Pyramid Program for Teen Parents
This program works with teen parents of all ages (13-19) to comprehensively strengthen their capacity to maintain family unity, stability, safety and healthy growth. Program participants receive supportive services, counseling, educational support, participate in life and parenting skills classes and are actively engaged in a wide variety of family unification, educational, social and cultural events and activities. The program runs in 16 week cycles and operates as a "rites of passage" experience for teen parents (both male and female). Family members, friends and other service providers are engaged in the program activities in order to provide the young parents with the necessary supports to achieve success and properly care for their child/children.
